How would you describe your character ?
A stroppy, overbleached, well meaning, feisty, grandmother type.
What is your characters personality ?
Amber is pretty strong - it would take a lot to break her. She tries to see a future after all the terrible things that have happened, but she finds it hard. She has natural leading instincts, but sometimes regrets having them when things need sorting out in the Tribe.
What are her strengths and weaknesses ?
Strengths - organising things, reaching compromises, dealing with people.
Weaknesses - her feelings for Bray can get to her affecting how she makes decisions.
Are you like Amber in real life ?
I think I can take things too seriously sometimes, like Amber does. Amber cares a lot about the people close to her which I also do.
Have you travelled around - what is your favourte place or places ?
I love the diversity of New York - I was there a few years back. Disneyland of course. I love the city of Wellington where we shoot the Tribe and I love the place where my family has a bach, its beautiful.
What animals do you like - any favourite ones, any pets at home ?
I love dogs - we have an adorable Mutt - Elsie. Our cat Minnie hates everyone but she's okay (in a good mood). I'd love to have a pet pig!
What is your favourite episode of the Tribe - and why ?
Episode 8. The death and burial of Zoot. Ashwath, Dwayne and Mikey all looked so sexy with lipstick on!!
